Overview:
Join our dedicated mental health team at this Correctional Facility as a Licensed Professional Clinical Councilor (LPCC). In this role, you’ll play a vital part in supporting the emotional and psychological well-being of incarcerated individuals through evidence-based therapeutic interventions. This position offers a meaningful opportunity to promote rehabilitation, resilience, and positive behavioral change within a secure environment—all while receiving a competitive compensation package.

Responsibilities:
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy using evidence-based modalities appropriate to the correctional setting.
• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans that address mental health needs, behavioral goals, and rehabilitation objectives.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment teams—including psychologists, psychiatrists, social workers, and custody staff—to coordinate holistic, person-centered care.
• Facilitate therapy sessions that promote emotional regulation, coping skills, communication, trauma processing, and interpersonal growth.
• Document assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries in accordance with facility and CDCR standards.
• Participate actively in Interdisciplinary Treatment Team (IDTT) meetings and contribute to case formulation, treatment planning, and crisis intervention strategies.
• Support inmate transitions and pre-release preparation by addressing reintegration challenges and developing relapse-prevention and community reentry skills.
• Maintain professional boundaries and ensure safety and security by adhering to all California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) policies, regulations, and ethical standards.
