Job Description

Step into an impactful role as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for the upcoming school year! This full-time, itinerant opportunity offers the chance to collaborate across multiple districts near Rockford, IL, in the vibrant Hiawatha area. As a valued behavioral specialist, youll provide essential support and services to students and school staff, playing a critical part in positive outcomes throughout the entire academic year.

Key Qualifications & Experience:
• Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential required
• Experience supporting children and adolescents with behavioral or developmental needs in educational settings
• Strong skills in conducting assessments and developing evidence-based behavior intervention plans
• Excellent communication and consultation skills with staff, students, and families
• Flexibility and adaptability to travel between multiple schools and adjust to varying environments
• Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) not required

Primary Responsibilities:
• Deliver direct and consultative BCBA services within several districts, ensuring consistent support across sites
• Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and collaborate in developing individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
• Train and advise school staff on effective behavioral strategies and interventions
• Monitor progress through data collection and adjust plans based on student needs
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teamsincluding teachers, counselors, and other specialistsensuring alignment and continuity of care
