What you'll build:
• Clinical Policies & Procedures Manual
• Assessment protocols (VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, AFLS)
• Treatment plan templates that meet insurance requirements
• RBT training curriculum and supervision framework
• Parent/caregiver training program
• Quality metrics and clinical outcome tracking
What you'll do day-to-day:
• Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments for new clients
• Develop and oversee individualized treatment plans
• Supervise RBTs (8:1 ratio, not 10–12:1)
• Lead insurance authorizations and clinical documentation
• Recruit and train the first cohort of RBTs
• Partner with CEO on credentialing and payer strategy
Requirements:
• Active BCBA certification (BACB) in good standing
• Florida Behavior Analyst license (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
• 3–5+ years post-certification clinical experience
• Experience supervising RBTs
• Knowledge of CPT codes 97151–97158 and insurance authorization processes
• Proficiency with VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, or AFLS
Strongly preferred:
• Bilingual English/Spanish
• Experience at a startup or small ABA practice (not just large corporate)
• Florida Medicaid MCO experience (Sunshine Health, Simply, Molina)
• Operations mindset — you build systems, not just follow them
Compensation:
• $85,000–$110,000 base salary
• Quarterly performance bonuses ($2,000–$5,000/quarter)
