Job Description

s Angeles County. This job is a terrific opportunity to help children develop appropriate social behaviors and life skills. We offer paid training and will help guide, support, and mentor your career in Behavior Analysis. Positions - 5 Location 1: East Los Angeles, Downtown Los Angeles, Huntington Park, Long Beach. Location 2: Glendale, Panorama City Must be available within the hours of 3:00-7:30 at least 3 days during the week (Mon-Fri) Requirements Behavior Therapist Duties and Responsibilities:
Help implement treatment plans as part of a dynamic team under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and Master's level supervisor. . Collect data on all programs. Analyze and assist young clients in developing appropriate social behaviors and life skills
• Record detailed observation notes for every client
• Collaborate with family members to obtain feedback on progress and provide support
• Attend clinical team meetings and training sessions
• Work independently as well as on a team, taking instruction and constructive feedback positively to ensure a high quality of service to the client
Behavior Therapist Requirements and Qualifications:
Flexible afternoon/early evening schedule
• Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or related field (preferred) - Max hourly rate is if applicant has MA/MS degree
• High school diploma/GED certificate and AA/60 college course units (required)
• Spanish (preferred) Experience working with children, preferably those with special needs
• RBT certification (or willingness to become certified)
• Ability to lift 40 pounds and sit/play on the floor for extended periods of time
• Negative TB test within the last 60 days
• Must have valid Driver's License, proof of insurance, and own transportation
• . Pass pre-employment background check
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Benefits Pay Rate:
$25-$35 per hour Competitive pay and initial and ongoing paid training
• Compensation for mileage and travel time if traveling from one client to another in same day . RBT supervision
• Paid sick time
• Opportunities for annual pay increases .
401K participation for all employees after 1 year - 4% match Bachelor's Degree preferred
