Job description

Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) are an integral part of the Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy team. A Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) works with individuals with and without developmental disabilities and with their families to provide ABA Therapy. The RBT will implement behavior plans, collect data, provide support to families, schools, and caregivers, and receive direct supervision and support from BCBA and BCaBA team members.

Responsibilities
• Work with clients 1-on-1 to implement behavior plans to reduce problem behavior and teach socially appropriate replacement behaviors
• Receive BCBA/BCaBA supervision, training, and support
• Collect data and learn to analyze data with supervisor support
• Maintain client confidentiality
• Provide support to family members, teachers, and caregivers

Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
• Includes 40-hour RBT training, competency assessment, and Passing score on RBT exam
• Ability to pass a background check
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
• Ability to work with individuals with developmental disabilities
