Job Overview
Work with a 19yo who has developmental disability: fostering communication, adaptive skills, leisure and social skills. Support to achieve goals while promoting safety, autonomy and independence in both home and community settings.
Duties
Adaptive skills training
Personal Assistance: Help with daily living tasks & personal care
Community Support: Transportation, social activities, and resources
Goal Setting & Advocacy: Tailored plans for personal and social goals
Social Recreation: Activities for personal growth & community engagement
Qualifications
• Previous experience working with adolescent with autism or developmental disabilities.
• Experience in developing or implementing care plans.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Able to create engaging activities that target and generalize goals.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
