Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students by providing crucial support in a dynamic educational environment. This contract-based opportunity is perfect for a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) who is passionate about working in schools and skilled at guiding students with a variety of behavioral needs.
The position involves working 1:1 with students in both elementary and cross-campus settings, including specialized behavior and Life Skills classrooms. There are two primary areas of need: elementary behavior support, and cross-campus/Life Skills support for students with more challenging behaviors. • Previous experience as an RBT, especially in school settings (strongly preferred)
• Expertise supporting elementary, middle, or high school students
• Confidence in working 1:1 or in small groups with students who display a range of behavioral needs
• CPI certification or experience with aggressive behaviors is a plus, particularly for cross-campus/Life Skills support
Your role will include:
• Supporting students in elementary behavior and Life Skills classrooms
• Implementing behavior intervention plans under the direction of certified staff
• Collecting and reporting data on student progress
• Assisting with daily routines and classroom management
• Collaborating closely with teachers and related service providers
This position offers a typical school day schedule (7:15 am – 3:30 pm), with assignments running through the end of the academic year and a strong likelihood of summer extension. Successful team members often return for renewed contracts.
