ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate full-time Behavior Technician to join our team for the 20252026 school year. The Behavior Technician will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support students with behavioral, emotional, and developmental needs across school settings. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of students and contribute to a supportive educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) developed by the supervising BCBA
• Collect accurate and timely data on student behavior and skill acquisition
• Assist in developing social, communication, and academic skills through direct instruction and reinforcement strategies
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to promote consistency and generalization of skills
• Participate in training and professional development activities
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all students during implementation of behavior supports
• Maintain confidentiality and follow ethical guidelines in all interactions
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associates or Bachelors degree in Psychology, Education, or related field preferred
• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification preferred but not necessary
• Experience working with children or individuals with developmental or behavioral challenges, preferably in a school setting
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to maintain composure and professionalism in challenging situations
Schedule:
• Monday through Friday, during regular school hours
• Follows the academic calendar for the 20252026 school year

- •Experience working with children or individuals with developmental or behavioral challenges, preferably in a school setting
