• *Responsibilities**
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders in pediatric populations.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each child's specific needs, including early intervention strategies.
• Deliver engaging therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based techniques to improve communication skills and functional abilities.
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive care and support for the child's development.
• Maintain detailed documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and clinical notes in accordance with healthcare regulations.
• Educate families on home exercises and strategies to reinforce therapy goals outside of clinical sessions.
• Stay current with advancements in speech therapy practices, physiology knowledge, medical terminology, and anatomy relevant to pediatric care.
• *Experience**
• Prior school experience working with children in educational or clinical settings is highly desirable.
• Proven experience providing speech therapy services within pediatric populations.
• Familiarity with patient assessment techniques specific to speech-language disorders.
• Knowledge of physiology and anatomy related to speech production and swallowing functions.
• Experience working with early intervention programs is a strong plus.
• Ability to communicate effectively with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
