--->Signing bonus will be paid out in 2 parts: initially when proof of CBT or RBT certification is verified as active or pending and onboarding complete; the remainder after 6 months of sustained employment, while remaining in good standing.

Responsibilities
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
• Provide direct support to clients in various settings, including home, school, and community environments.
• Monitor and document client progress, ensuring accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Assist clients with daily living skills and promote independence through positive reinforcement strategies.
• Conduct patient assessments to identify needs and develop appropriate interventions.
• Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to care.
• Utilize appropriate, respectful, professional communication at all times while working
• Maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients while adhering to behavioral health best practices.

Skills
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
• Experience working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities is preferred.
• Strong patient care skills with the ability to assess client needs effectively.
• Familiarity with special education practices and behavioral health principles.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients and their families.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team while demonstrating patience and empathy.
• Proficiency in medical documentation practices related to patient care.

Qualifications

  • A high school diploma
  • Previous experience working with children
  • Ability to pass a comprehensive background check
  • The drive to complete the Washington state-mandated 40-hour CBT training course prior to working with clients and within 14 days of hire
