Responsibilities

  • The Patient Enrollment Coordinator comprises an integral part of the research team
  • Working under the PI, he/she is responsible for identifying potential patients for clinical research in accordance with federal regulations
  • Perform daily patient calls from existing patient database and new referrals
  • Perform thorough medical history collection and review to ensure a potential patient eligibility
  • Pre-screen referral walk-ins
  • Perform chart reviews as needed to identify potential patients
  • Record any successful and unsuccessful contact attempts for potential patients in electronic database
  • Update study-required pre-screening logs
  • Perform community outreach for currently enrolling studies
