Compensation: $60–$70/hour + strong benefits package

Location: Peninsula Region (San Mateo, Redwood City, and surrounding areas)
Job Type: Full-time (approximately 30–35 hours/week, with opportunity to grow)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Director (BCBA) to lead clinical programming, mentor Program Managers, and oversee high-quality ABA services across the Peninsula region.

Adapt is a BCBA-owned, clinician-led company focused on quality care, collaboration, and manageable caseloads. This role is ideal for someone who values autonomy, mentorship, and making a meaningful impact within a close-knit team.

What You’ll Do

• Oversee assessments, treatment planning, and intervention fidelity
• Conduct FBAs and develop individualized treatment plans
• Supervise and mentor Program Managers and clinical staff
• Provide ongoing clinical guidance and case oversight
• Ensure timely documentation, compliance, and data accuracy
• Train caregivers and support parent education
• Conduct staff evaluations and provide performance feedback
• Support development of clinical systems, protocols, and templates
• Address clinical concerns and ensure ethical service delivery

What We’re Looking For

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in ABA, Psychology, Special Education, or related field
• Active BCBA certification (required)
• Active NPI and liability insurance

Experience

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a BCBA
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience
• Experience overseeing clinical teams and programming
• Strong background with assessment tools (VB-MAPP, Vineland, ABLLS)

Skills

• Strong leadership and mentorship abilities
• Excellent communication and organization skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
