Job Description

the Collaborative Coaching Department for the 2026-2027 school year. This position is a full time 5 day/week position blending 3 days/week of direct behavior coaching service in a district or in WCESC Student Programming and 2 days/week of Lead BCBA job responsibilities.

Start Date - August 2026
Salary: Salary per WCESC salary schedule and is commensurate with experience includes stipend for lead responsibilities

Job Description
Minimum Qualifications:
Master's Degree with emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or related field
Must have current Board-Certified Behavior Analyst Certification
Ohio State Board of Education Administrative License: obtained or in process
Experience working as a BCBA in the school setting preferred
Pass criminal background check
Valid driver's license or state identification

Guiding Focus:
Work alongside the Senior Executive Director of Related Services to provide leadership and consultation to BCBAs and BCaBAs in order to fulfill the department goals by guiding team building and development and assisting in long-range department vision

Serve as a liaison between the BCBAs and BCaBAs and Senior Executive Director of Related Services who oversees Behavior Interventionists within the Collaborative Coaching Department

Responsibilities:
• Serve as a resource to WCESC Collaborative Coaching Department BCBAs and BCaBAs
• Conduct formative and summative evaluations of BCBA and BCaBAs employed by the Warren County ESC and maintain appropriate training credentials
• Assist with the evaluations of Behavior Interventionists in the Collaborative Coaching Department
• Support BCBAs and BCaBAs in district by participating as needed in child study/school teams and providing feedback on behavioral assessments, interventions, and strategies
• May need to provide programming supervision and support for BCaBAs
• Provide personnel functions related to recruitment and employment of BCBAs
• Plan for in-service training for BCBAs and BCaBAs, appropriate to the needs of their placement as well as regularly scheduled department meetings
• Provide training to the BCBAs and BCaBAs for their connection, support, and oversight to the WCESC Behavior Interventionists assigned to their district
• Assist in the management of reimbursement for travel and professional development
• In conjunction with the Assistant Superintendent of Student Programming and Services, Assistant Treasurer, Senior Executive Director of Related Services, coordinate and maintain the budget for the collaborative coaching department
• Serve as a liaison between WCESC and districts contracting collaborative coaching services
• Complete department publications requested by WCESC leadership
• Other duties needed to help WCESC fulfill our vision and abide by WCESC values

• Possible operation of a motor vehicle under inclement weather conditions
• The role involves direct interaction with students who exhibit challenging behaviors

Qualifications

  • Related Services/Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
