Job Summary

We are seeking a Part-Time Behavioral Therapist to join our team in Lake Forest, CA. In this role, you will provide direct therapeutic services to clients through individual and/or group-based interventions, support treatment goals, and maintain accurate clinical documentation. This position is ideal for individuals who value ethical practice, flexibility, and growth opportunities within a smaller, relationship-driven organization.
Responsibilities
• Provide individual and/or group behavioral therapy sessions
• Implement treatment plans developed by licensed clinicians or supervisors
• Support behavioral goals using evidence-based intervention strategies
• Collect, document, and maintain accurate client records and session notes
• Communicate professionally with clients, families, and team members
• Participate in team meetings, trainings, and supervision as required
• Conduct regular wellness and safety checks during sessions
• Adhere to all organizational policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, counseling, social work, behavioral health, or a related field
• Previous experience in behavioral health, mental health, or therapeutic services preferred
• BLS and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Highly organized with attention to detail
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries
Preferred (Not Required)
• Experience working with children, adolescents, or vulnerable populations
• Familiarity with evidence-based behavioral or therapeutic approaches
