We are a nationally accredited Short-term Residential Therapeutic Program dedicated to supporting the children, boys who range in age from 6 yrs. to 12 yrs., in our care on their journey to healing.
• Essential Functions:*
• Diagnosis and treatment of mental and emotional disorders whether cognitive, affective, or behavioral, within the context of supportive residential treatment,
• Conduct thorough intake assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine client needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy.
• Implement crisis intervention strategies to manage urgent mental health situations effectively while ensuring safety for clients and staff.
• Knowledge of CPS reporting mandates and limits of confidentiality
• Maintain accurate documentation and treatment records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, using appropriate medical terminology and CPT coding standards.
• Engage in case management activities including patient assessment, treatment planning, progress monitoring, and discharge planning.
• Utilize specialized skills in working with children with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD), including applied behavior analysis techniques.
• Participate in ongoing professional development by staying current with ICD-10/ICD-9 coding updates, mental health research, and best practices in behavioral health.
• Knowledge of Medi-cal billing requirements.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated patient care plans.
• Collaborate with treatment team members, direct care staff and placing agency staff to ensure treatment plans are consistent and relevant.
• Maintain a professional, confidential and trauma focused work environment.
• Understand and respond to a diverse population.
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to exercise sound judgement.

• Must be reliable and consistent with attendance and punctuality to work.
• Experience*
• Master's Degree in Psychology or related social science
• Licensed with the Board of Behavioral Science (BBS)
• Current unrestricted licensure in the State of California
• Minimum of two years in a clinical setting
• Prior experience working with children
• Clients intake assessments
• CFTM Facilitation
• Individual & Group Therapy
• Case planning
• Progress notes documentation

Pay: $85,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year

Responsibilities

  • Experienced*, *Full-time, Licensed Marriage Family Therapist or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor or Licensed Clinical Social Worker* wanted to provide evidence based, person centered trauma informed speciality mental health services to our clients
  • Ideally the person filling this role will be a compassionate, communicative and trustworthy clinician who is serious about supporting the physical, emotional and mental well-being of our clients
