Key Responsibilities

Clinical Duties
• Room patients and obtain vital signs
• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
• Assist physicians with in-office procedures
• Perform EKGs, phlebotomy, and specimen collection when needed
• Administer medications and injections as ordered
• Document patient information accurately in the EMR

Clinical Research Duties
• Assist with screening and enrolling patients for clinical trials
• Maintain study documentation and regulatory binders
• Coordinate study visits and follow-up appointments
• Collect and process laboratory samples according to study protocols
• Ensure compliance with study protocols, GCP, and regulatory requirements
• Maintain accurate data entry for research studies
• Communicate with sponsors, CROs, and research coordinators as needed

Qualifications
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) preferred
• Experience in clinical research is a plus, but training may be provided
• Phlebotomy experience required
• Strong organizational and documentation skills
• Familiarity with EMR systems
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of HIPAA and patient confidentiality

Preferred Experience
• Prior experience in clinical trials or research coordination
• Experience with specimen processing, or laboratory procedures
• Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP)

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 – 40.0 per week
