Job Description
hnicians work one-on-one or with a small group in various settings, such as the individuals home, community or learning center.
Behavioral Technicians receive training to become Registered Behavioral Technicians (RBT) that uses science-based therapy called applied behavioral analysis (ABA). RBT work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavioral Analyst.
Core Duties and Responsibilities:
• Follow behavioral health plans developed by a BCBA
• Assist individuals in day-to-day tasks
• Observe behaviors to collect data
• Teach specific skills required for skill obtainment
• Nuture social abilities
• Particpate in meetings
• CPR/First Aid (training provided)
• Documentation of services provided
• Compete 40 hours of Behavioral Training (training provided) to become registered
• Successfully pass the RBT exam
• Follow the RBT Ethics Code
• Annual training (provided)
Requirements:
• Must be at least 18 years old
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Driver's License:Successfully pass driving record review
• Background check: Criminal and LEIE (Medicaid Provider Check)
• Drug Screening
• Able to successfully complete RBT 40 hour training and become registered within 30 days of hire. (Paid training provided)

Responsibilities
- •Behavioral Technicians focus on working with children, teens and adults with autism spectrum disorder (ASD)
- •Behavior Technicians assist Behavioral Analysts in implementing and monitoring plans that help individuals build skills in coping, communication, socialization, self-help and play
- •The role involves helping individuals with day-to-day activities and recording their progress
