Duties & Responsibilities:
• Instruct individuals in special education skill areas
• Plan curriculum, lessons, and special education programs and teaching methods
• Evaluate and monitor student progress based on classroom performance, test scores, and observation of behavior
• Support objectives and interventions of the educational program
• Maintain safe physical environment of the classroom
• Maintain contact with parents of students and/or professionals concerning student progress
• Develop IEPs addressing specific academic, behavioral, and speech needs of students
• Prepare report cards, educational records, classroom observation records, and other documentation as required. Function as integral member of treatment/IEP team, addressing needs of students

Qualifications:
• Minimum of a bachelor level degree in education required
• 3-5 years experience working with students with intellectual disabilities, autism and significant challenging behavior preferred
• PDE certification in special education required
• Experience with modifying general education content to meet the diverse needs of students
• Prior experience working with CDC students in an extended school year teaching position preferred
• Current police, child abuse & FBI fingerprint clearances
• Clearance as an MA provider by the Commonwealth of PA and federal government (conducted by CCIU upon hire)

Salary - 2025-2026 School Year (Professional):

$58,751 - $88,563 - Instructional I
$61,300 - $92,110 - Instructional II
$65,394 - $100,586 - Master's degree
$68,403 - $104,546 - Master's degree plus 15 credits
$69,938 - $106,442 - Master's degree plus 30 credits

Schedule & Location:
CCDC Engle Education Center: 107 Schoolhouse Rd, West Grove, PA 19390
5 days per week, 7.5 hours per day, 194 days per year
