We are seeking Biorepository Associate to join IQVIA Laboratories at Valencia,
CA.

Job Summary:
Support biorepository operations by accurately receiving, processing, storing, and
shipping biological specimens while maintaining chain of custody and compliance in
the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS). This role is onsite in Valencia,
CA.
What You'll Be Doing:
• Demonstrate competency in assigned processes and follow SOPs to ensure
compliant specimen handling
• Enter, verify, and maintain specimen data and audit history in the Laboratory
Information Management System (LIMS)
• Prepare specimens through multi-step workflows for storage, ensuring
accurate identification and documentation
• Store specimens in designated cold units and update locations in LIMS to
maintain inventory integrity
• Prepare and complete outbound specimen shipments, ensuring accuracy,
packaging compliance, and required documentation
• Respond to email correspondence, support LRMS ticket requests, and raise IT
tickets for system issues as needed
• Upload, archive, and maintain specimen-related paperwork in LIMS and
complete monthly physical archiving as required
• Assist with equipment checks, supply inventory, and workstation cleanup
while following safety procedures
What We Are Looking For:
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Familiarity with specimen handling, quality control processes, and accurate
data entry in LIMS or similar systems
• Basic computer skills with the ability to troubleshoot routine system issues
and maintain effective reporting procedures
• Other Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be
accepted in lieu of degree
The Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Needed for This Role:
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step instructions in a fast-
paced environment
• Effective time management, organization, and documentation skills to
maintain inventory accuracy and compliance
• Clear communication and collaborative interpersonal skills to support cross-
functional laboratory workflows
• Ability to identify issues, escalate appropriately, and support ticketing
processes for IT or system-related needs
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, frequent standing and walking, occasional sitting, close eye
work requirement (computer, typing, reading small prints). Physical demands vary
depending on assigned work area and work tasks. Occasional exposure to cold
temperatures.
