Patient Account Specialist
In this role you will serve as the primary point of contact for clients with patient responsibility (PR) questions, concerns or confusion across multi-state operations. You are expected to deescalate & resolve client concerns professionally by providing personal guidance and payment support.
Key responsibilities:
• Handle inbound client calls related to patient responsibility balances.
• Assist the client intake team by explaining complex insurance coverage details to new clients in clear, simple terms to set accurate cost expectations.
• Navigate multiple systems during live calls to resolve client concerns efficiently.
• Verify claims processing against insurance benefit details to troubleshoot, resolve & ensure proper claims processing.
• Troubleshoot & resolve patient balance confusion using claims processing, benefit details, and payment data.
• Work with clients to arrange & process payments & custom payment plans.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of client interactions and payment arrangements.
