ProCare Therapy is seeking Behavior Technicians to support students throughout Sacramento-area schools during the 20262027 school year. This position offers the opportunity to help students develop positive behavioral, social, and academic skills while working in a collaborative educational environment.

As a Behavior Technician, you'll be more than just a member of the support teamyou'll be a trusted resource, mentor, and advocate for students as they work toward their goals.

Position Details

Location: Sacramento, California

Start Date: August 11, 2026

Schedule:
• MondayFriday
• 3035 hours per week
• Typical hours between 7:45 a.m. and 3:45 p.m.
• Potential additional hours available through after-school programming

Compensation:
• $22.00 per hour
• Weekly Pay

What You'll Do
• Support students who require behavioral and social-emotional assistance
• Implement behavioral strategies designed to encourage student success
• Help students improve self-regulation, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Provide encouragement and structure throughout the school day
• Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and support staff
• Foster a positive and productive learning environment

Ideal Experience

Candidates with backgrounds in the following areas are encouraged to apply:
• Behavior Technician
• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
• ABA Therapy
• Behavioral Intervention
• Direct Support Professional (DSP)
• Special Education
• Mental Health Support
• Childcare

• Psychology or Human Services

Experience working with children is highly valued, but we also welcome individuals with transferable behavioral support experience.
