What You'll Do
As a Behavior Analyst you'll provide behavioral services and support to clients and their caregivers. You will coordinate, supervise, and provide behavioral services from a strengths-based perspective, utilizing evidence-based practices such as trauma-informed care, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), and skill-based treatment. Your services will span functional behavioral analysis and assessment, acquisition and reduction procedures, naturalistic teaching, and adaptive life skills. You'll supervise Behavior Technicians and provide clinical supervision to behavior specialists. Training and support to parents/caregivers will be part of your role, including skill acquisition and behavior support plan implementation. You will coordinate care across settings and collaborate with other treatment team members and family.
Minimum Qualifications
• Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Social Work, Education, or related field.
• Experience working with children/adolescents with psychiatric and/or behavioral disorders, including autism spectrum disorders.
• Strong communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
• Ability to supervise BCBA candidates and RBTs.
• Valid Ohio driver's license and proof of auto insurance with insurable driving record.
Licensure/Certification
• COBA (Certified Ohio Behavior Analyst) – certification in good standing and obtainable within 3 months of hire.
• First Aid, CPR (adult, child, infant) – training provided if not already certified.
• Physical crisis intervention training – required by program.
