Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and evaluate speech, language, and communication needs of students
• Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals in alignment with evidence-based practices
• Provide individual and small-group speech therapy sessions according to IEP objectives
• Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and related service providers to support student progress
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Actively participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
Qualifications:
• Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid Speech-Language Pathology license (state-specific licensure for Louisiana or eligibility to obtain)
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CF) are encouraged to apply as supervision is available
• Experience in school-based settings and pediatric speech therapy is an asset but not required
