Job Description
Amergis Healthcare Staffing is hiring full-time, part-time, and on-call Behavior Technicians to support students with special needs in local schools and summer programs.
? What You Get

• Up to $30/hr (based on districts/experience)
• Paid trainings
• Mission Viejo and across Orange County
?? What You’ll Do
• Implement behavior plans created by BCBAs
• Use ABA strategies like DTT and naturalistic teaching
• Collect data and submit session notes
• Support student engagement and skill development
• Collaborate with BCBAs, teachers, and other faculty staff
• Follow behavior plans to manage challenging behaviors
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism
?? Requirements
• High School Diploma or GED
• 6+ months ABA experience
• Background check & TB test
• Reliable transportation (Tustin, Orange, Santa Ana, Irvine, Anaheim, etc.)
• Strong communication skills

The Behavior Technician works to facilitate educational and behavioral services with children and adults with special needs and collaborates with school professionals and other behavioral specialists to achieve learning and behavioral goals and objectives.
Minimum Requirements:
• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Two (2) years of pediatric experience preferred
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
