Job Description

Position Title: Behavior Technician (In-Home)- Full-Time

Compensation: $21-25/hr depending on experience

Job Duties
• Conduct direct ABA therapy services to a variety of patients between the ages of 2-16
• Collaborate and seek guidance from case supervisors, assigned BCBA, and Lead BCBA to ensure best practice of implementation of services
• Implement behavior support plans as provided by your Case Supervisor and BCBA
• Assist patients with diapering and toileting (training will be provided)
• Maintain accurate and timely records of patient's performance via data collection and clinical notes
• Willingness to provide services in a variety of settings and locations as needed
• Complete additional support tasks and/or make-up and substitute sessions as they are available
• Support with implementing parent education during sessions as outlined by your Case Supervisor and BCBA
• Must pass fidelity checks to ensure clinical quality
• Engage in excellent communication skills with your Case Supervisor and BCBA in regard to your assigned caseload
• Open to feedback from the Case Supervisor, assigned BCBA, Lead BCBA and Clinical Director to support your growth within the company

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities Required
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience providing Applied Behavior Analysis treatment to children on the Autism spectrum is preferred.
• Current knowledge of treatment practices and/or a drive to continually learn more about and explore new treatment practices that may benefit our patients
• Willingness to complete all required trainings/certifications (CPR/FA, Blood Borne Pathogens (BBP), Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI), RBT)
• Must have a strong ability to work with a wide array of patients (age, race, ethnicity, etc.)
• Able to be highly collaborative, team-oriented and customer service driven
• Basic understanding and experience with technology used (i.e. email, Microsoft, etc.)
• Reliable transportation, valid California driver's license and valid auto insurance
• Willing to travel between homes in the San Bernardino region
• Bilingual in English and Spanish

Licensing/Credential And/or Education Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in the field of Psychology, Child Development, Education or related field (A. or High School Diploma will be considered for applicants with experience in Applied Behavior Analysis)

Physical Requirements
• Ability to stand, walk, and sit frequently or for prolonged periods of time.
• Lifting/carrying/pushing/pulling up to 25 pounds.
• Stooping/crouching, reaching/handling/fingering, talking/hearing conversations, and near/far visual acuity/depth perception/color vision/field of vision.
• Ability to run for brief periods of time to maintain client safety
