Position: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) | Arvada, Colorado
A fulfilling contract opportunity awaits a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to make a positive difference in the lives of elementary students. Located near Arvada, CO, this assignment spans the academic year and is based across two vibrant elementary schools. You'll play a pivotal role in supporting students, collaborating with educators, and guiding the development of effective behavioral interventions that foster student success.
Qualifications and
Experience:
• Active and current BCBA certification required
• Colorado Department of Education (CDE) license or a copy of verification from COOL must accompany your resume for consideration
• Previous experience working in school settings and knowledge of best practices for elementary-aged students is preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
• Demonstrated ability to assess, develop, and implement individualized behavior intervention plans
• Passion for making a meaningful difference in student outcomes
Responsibilities in this role:
• Conduct functional behavior assessments and create individualized intervention plans
• Work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and families to support student needs
• Train and coach school staff in using behavioral strategies and interventions
• Collect and analyze data to monitor student progress and adjust plans as needed
• Support compliance with school and district guidelines as well as ethical standards of practice
• Maintain accurate records and provide progress updates as required
