Job Type: Part-Time | 6-Week Summer Program (2–3 days/week)
Salary starting at $2340 2 days a week. $ 3510 3 days a week. (based on experience and education)

Center for Spectrum Services is seeking a passionate, team-oriented Special Education Teacher to join our nationally recognized day school in Kingston, NY. We serve children on the autism spectrum, ages 2–12, and are known for our collaborative, supportive approach.

What You’ll Do
• Lead a classroom and supervise support staff
• Design and implement creative, individualized education plans
• Collaborate with therapists, behavior specialists, and administrators
• Foster a structured, positive learning environment for students with autism
What We’re Looking For
• Required NYS Certification (one of the following):
• Early Childhood Education (Birth–Grade 2)
• Childhood Education (Grades 1–6)
• Preferred: Early Childhood Special Education (Grades 1–6)
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
• 1+ years of teaching experience preferred
• Strong passion for supporting students with autism and their development
Schedule
• Monday–Friday 8am-3pm (2–3 days per week)
• No weekends
