Job Description
Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
Pay: $26+ per hour Locations: Multiple school districts across California Schedule: Monday–Friday, school hours
About the Role
We are seeking dedicated Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to provide 1:1 behavioral support to students in school settings. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), child development, and helping students succeed academically and socially.
Responsibilities
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA supervision
• Provide 1:1 support to students with behavioral or developmental needs
• Collect and record accurate data on student progress
• Assist with behavior reduction and skill-building programs
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and clinical supervisors
• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times
Qualifications
• Active RBT certification (or willingness to obtain it)
• Experience working with children or individuals with special needs preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable, patient, and compassionate
• Ability to follow clinical guidance and behavior plans
