Job Description
Responsibilities
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a licensed professional.
• Provide direct support to clients in various settings, including home, school, and community environments.
• Collect and document data on client progress, behaviors, and responses to interventions.
• Assist in conducting patient assessments to identify needs and develop appropriate strategies.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to care.
• Utilize medical terminology effectively in communication and documentation processes.
• Engage clients in therapeutic activities that promote skill development and social interaction.
Qualifications
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities or in patient care settings is preferred.
• Background in behavioral therapy or special education is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with data collection methods and patient assessment techniques.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Knowledge of ABA Applied behavior analysis or DTT Discrete Trial Instruction helpful
• Patience, empathy, and a commitment to promoting positive behavioral outcomes for clients are essential traits for success in this role.
