Who We’re Looking For:

In addition to strong communication and customer service skills, we are especially looking for individuals with:
• Experience in patient recruitment, research sites, or patient-facing healthcare roles
• A healthcare background (medical assistant, nursing, medical receptionist, pharmacy tech, etc.)
• Familiarity with medical terminology
• Prior experience in remote work. Works independently from home while staying responsive and reliable
• Although this is a 100% remote position, candidates must reside in the Austin, TX area or within reasonable driving distance, as occasional onsite visits may be necessary.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct outbound and respond to inbound calls with potential research participants
• Phone-screen individuals to determine study eligibility
• Clearly communicate study details and answer questions about clinical trials
• Schedule eligible participants for screening visits
• Maintain accurate records in our patient database
• Collaborate with recruitment and study teams to meet enrollment targets
• Undertake other related duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:
• At least 1 year of experience in healthcare, medical front office, or clinical research
• High school diploma or related work experience.
• High comfort level spending most of the work day on the phone (up to 90%)
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and teamwork skills.
• Effective problem-solving skills.
• Organized, self-motivated, and goal-driven
• Comfortable with basic tech platforms and databases (training provided)
• Must be able to work 40 hours per week from a distraction-free home environment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal direct supervision.

Preferred Experience:
• Prior work in clinical research or patient recruitment
• Prior experience in remote work.
• Knowledge of clinical trial processes or IRB-regulated environments
• Experience with CRM or database tools for tracking patient communication
