Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Psychological Associate (LPA) passionate about conducting Autism Assessments to join our client's team. This position, based primarily in the Greensboro clinic, involves diagnostic evaluations for children and adolescents (ages 1-21), where you will integrate test results, clinical interviews, and behavioral observations to provide comprehensive, family-centered reports and treatment recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Assessment
• Select and administer standardized psychological assessments, then interpret results effectively.
• Conduct autism and differential diagnostic evaluations using evidence-based tools.
• Integrate behavioral observations, test data, and clinical interviews into thorough reports.

Reporting & Family Support
• Prepare detailed and timely evaluation reports.
• Conduct feedback sessions with families to clarify results, diagnoses, and treatment recommendations.
• Offer individualized guidance and referrals for necessary follow-up services.

Collaboration & Teamwork
• Work within an interdisciplinary team to maintain continuity of care.
• Collaborate with caregivers and community partners to enhance ongoing treatment.
• Participate in team meetings, peer consultations, and quality assurance initiatives.

Qualifications
• Education: Master’s degree in Psychology from an accredited institution (required).
• Licensure: Active North Carolina Licensed Psychological Associate (LPA) credential (required).
• Experience: Preferred experience conducting autism and developmental assessments (training provided).
• Familiarity with evidence-based assessment tools and DSM-5 diagnostic criteria is essential.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and digital testing platforms.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical setting and manage a workload exceeding 40 hours per week.
• Physical requirements include prolonged standing, sitting, walking, bending, and kneeling; must be able to lift up to 30 lbs.
