At Holding Hands, our Developmental Interventionists use relationship-based approaches to help individuals grow socially, emotionally, and developmentally. As a Developmental Interventionist, you will deliver individualized care using the DIR®/Floortime™ model across home, school, clinic, and community settings while working alongside a collaborative clinical team.

What You’ll DoKey Responsibilities as a Developmental Interventionist:
• Provide 1:1 DIR®/Floortime™ intervention
• Facilitate social, emotional, and developmental growth through play-based interactions
• Implement individualized, relationship-based activities tailored to each client
• Support communication, emotional regulation, and social connection
• Encourage independence, self-expression, and choice-making
• Build strong relationships with clients and families
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members
• Maintain a nurturing, flexible, and supportive environment
What We’re Looking ForDevelopmental Interventionist Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree required (in a related field)
• Passion for working with children and supporting developmental growth
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable transportation required
• 1 year of experience in a related field
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with DIR®/Floortime™, ABA, or early childhood development
• Master’s degree in a related field
• Experience working with children with autism or developmental differences
