Lead and train Research Lab Assistants, Research Fellows, lower-level Research Associates, and other related support staff. Orient new Research Fellows or Research Scientists to day-to-day lab operations and procedures. Supervise 2-3 Research Associates.

Minimum requirements: Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Pharmacology, Toxicology, or related field, plus two (2) years of experience as a Research Associate or related occupation.

Must have experience with the following: researching, developing, and implementing new laboratory procedures and protocols; budgetary requirements and policies; clinical and research support: ad hoc data analysis, hypothesis development, programming, and troubleshooting; analyzing data and preparing scientific findings for publication; and leading and training support staff.

Salary: $93,434 per year

Responsibilities

  • •Research Associate (Cedars-Sinai Medical Center; West Hollywood, CA): Provide clinical and research support (ad hoc data analysis, hypothesis development, programming, and troubleshooting) in large or multi-project-oriented labs
  • •Organize clinical and research trials in conjunction with the Principal Investigator and sponsor and funding source
  • •Monitor and ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures
  • •Develop hypothesis and assist in planning steps for the investigative process
