Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver speech and language therapy services to middle school students with diverse communication needs
• Manage an itinerant caseload split between two campuses, ensuring consistent support and progress monitoring
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and team members to develop and implement effective treatment plans
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with district policies and professional standards

Qualifications:
• Current and valid professional SLP license (CCC required)
• Experience working with middle school-aged children preferred
• Ability to pass fingerprinting and background checks
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Flexibility to work full-time hours (37.5 hours weekly) between two locations

Assignment Details:
• Location: San Antonio, TX (Garner Middle School and Wood Middle School)
• Position Type: Contract, Maternity Leave Coverage
• Start Date: April 1, 2026
• End Date: May 22, 2026
• Itinerant position serving two campuses
• Caseload size approximately 100 students

This opportunity offers professional experience in a dynamic school setting supporting pre-adolescent students. Candidates will need to complete credentialing and onboarding by March 30, 2026, with a projected start date of April 6, 2026.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required
  • Current and valid professional SLP license (CCC required)
