Roles and Responsibilities:
• Report to the Clinical Supervisor (BCBA assigned to the client's case).
• Engage in one-on-one sessions with clients.
• Implement strategies from the applied behavior analysis framework in accordance with the client’s behavior intervention plan.
• Regularly evaluate the client’s strengths in completing daily tasks and identify areas for improvement.
• Inform the clinical team of new behaviors observed.
• Document any significant changes in behavior.
• React appropriately to challenging behaviors exhibited by clients.
• Consistently perform data collection during sessions.
• Track client progress based on the goals set in the behavior intervention plan.
• Communicate any session cancellations promptly with the Scheduler and arrange make-up sessions.
• Adhere to all organizational policies and state/federal regulations.
• Regularly check and respond to the PBS Outlook email account.
• Participate in necessary team meetings.
• Complete required and ongoing paid training.
• Take on additional responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor to meet client needs.

Qualifications:
• Must be willing to commute within a 15-20 mile radius of the work location.
• Open availability for at least 4 days during the week, including one weekend day if requested.
• Experience is preferred but not mandatory! (RBT certification is a plus).
• Minimum education requirement: high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred, but not a requirement.
• Excellent time management, communication, organization, and documentation skills are essential.
• Familiarity with or proficiency in Office 365 or other Microsoft Office applications is preferred.
• Must possess reliable transportation and a functioning cellular phone.
• New hires must pass a background check through the DOJ and FBI.

Responsibilities

  • Afternoon Shift: Monday-Friday (Flexible Hours)
  • Under the guidance of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), you will implement evidence-based behavior intervention strategies tailored to each child’s treatment plan
