We are looking for afternoon therapists in home
Duties:
- Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Provide direct one-on-one therapy to individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD)
- Collect and record data on client progress and behavior
- Assist with the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with the BCBA and other team members to ensure consistency and effectiveness of interventions
- Use positive reinforcement techniques to promote skill acquisition and behavior change
- Conduct preference assessments and assist with functional behavior assessments
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to follow directions and implement behavior intervention plans accurately
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Patience and compassion when working with individuals with ASD
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Basic computer skills for data collection and reporting
- RBT Certification a plus
This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience working with individuals with ASD is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.
