Job Description

• Maintain knowledge of community resources and programs and make appropriate referrals as required.
• Coordinate all aspects of your client’s treatment and provide ongoing counseling.
Behavioral Health Counselor Qualifications:
• The Behavioral Health Counselor must possess a current and active license as an LCSW or MFT to practice counseling in the State of California or be a registered LCSW/MFCC intern with the California Board of Behavioral Science Examiners.
• Must be aware of the State and Federal regulations regarding confidentiality and release of Medical and Behavioral Health information.
• Must be aware of current reporting laws concerning sexual, physical or emotional abuse of a minor or adult, and current laws pertaining to therapists.
The Surrounding Environment:
• Scenic rides through forests and tunnels.
• Native flora, blooming flowers, and stunning oceanfront views.
• Quaint fishing harbor offering fresh seafood and fishing/crabbing opportunities.
• Popular for hiking, whale watching, and exploring the rugged coastline
