Job Description
ring specialized speech and language services to a diverse student population, including those with moderate to severe disabilities and students requiring augmentative communication support. This on-site contract position extends through June 12, 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver comprehensive speech-language pathology services, addressing a variety of communication disorders.
• Collaborate with educators, specialists, and families to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Utilize both low and high-tech augmentative communication systems to support student communication needs.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with all professional standards and legal requirements.
• Participate as an integral member of a multidisciplinary team supporting at-risk and special needs youth.
Qualifications/Experience:
• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
• Valid Oregon teaching license with Speech Impaired or Communication Disorder Endorsement and/or Oregon Speech-Language Pathology license.
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
• Experience working with moderate to severe disabilities and augmentative communication systems preferred.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Valid Oregon drivers license and, if required, First Aid/CPR certification.
Location:
• Eugene, Oregon (On-site position).
