Job Description
Provides in-service and outreach education on mental health issues/trauma related concerns. Educates the patient and family/significant others to improve patient health outcomes and involves patients and family/significant others in care and care decisions. Recognizes and advocates for each patient as an individual with unique health care needs and provides considerate, respectful care affirming the patient's right to make decisions regarding their care.

• no weekends or holidays
• experience in trauma focused intervention preferred
• LISW or LPCC required
• serving Michael's House in Greene County and Care House in Montgomery County

- •Provides direct mental health services to children who have been victims of abuse and trauma
- •Provides consultation to other health care professionals in the hospital and community regarding mental health aspects of children’s behavior, and collaborates with a multi-disciplinary team
