Freelance Clinical Research Associate

To support a major clinical trial across 15+ US sites, the freelance Clinical Research Associate will manage end-to-end site lifecycle support, focusing on remote monitoring while preparing for and conducting site visits and reporting, all within a temporary remote role. Key responsibilities Act as the primary contact for site lifecycle support, leading monitoring according to trial protocols Coordinate and autonomously manage monitoring activities, advising Trial Managers on process improvements Collaborate with tech and product teams to enhance the Citrus trial monitoring platform based on customer needs Required qualifications 3+ years of independent site monitoring experience across all visit types Experience with Decentralized Clinical Trials (DCT) and central monitoring approaches Strong working knowledge of GCP/GDP and clinical trial regulations Ability to develop and implement risk-proportionate monitoring plans Experience in startup or early-stage environments is advantageous
