Implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) accurately and consistently Deliver direct, one-on-one ABA-based support during daily routines and community activities Collect and record data on target behaviors and skill acquisition goals Utilize approved crisis intervention strategies to support de-escalation Assist with development of life skills including hygiene, communication, social interaction, and daily living tasks Collaborate closely with supervising BCBA and residential staff to maintain a structured environment Promote safety and independence for the resident through consistent support Qualifications:
Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required Experience supporting individuals with high behavioral needs in structured settings In-depth knowledge of ABA principles and behavior reduction techniques Proficiency in crisis prevention and intervention strategies Patient, professional, and reliable demeanor with strong confidentiality awareness Ability to accurately document and follow protocols Schedule & Location:
Approximately 15 hours per week with flexible scheduling options including afternoons, evenings, or weekends Consistent 1:1 assignment working with the same individual Position located in Escondido, CA, in a middle school environment Benefits of this role include the chance to build strong rapport with clients, witness impactful behavioral progress, and gain focused experience in a collaborative residential care team.
