Job Description

Key Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree in a relevant field required; candidates with LMFT credentials are highly preferred
• At least 3 years of experience working with adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder, with a focus on those without intellectual disabilities
• Deep understanding of the mental health, sensory, executive functioning, and socialization challenges unique to ASD
• Strong communication skills and collaborative approach to working with other professionals
• Background in pediatric settings is a plus, though experience with adult populations is essential

Responsibilities:
• Provide direct support and specialized strategies for students with ASD in school environments
• Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to develop and implement individualized plans
• Address and help manage sensory sensitivities, executive functioning difficulties, and social skills development
• Offer consultation and training to school staff on best practices for supporting students with ASD
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes as required by the schools protocols
• Support transition planning and promote greater independence for students with ASD
