As a Registered Behavior Technician at My World ABA you will be a vital component in children’s lives as you provide 1:1 service to children with varied abilities across the autism spectrum. My World ABA utilizes positive behavior support throughout the clinic when engaging peers, clients, parents, and other professionals. We provide training and supervision throughout the day by a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst so that you will always feel supported. You will have access to our online training modules and CEU courses.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct care to clients in a one-on-one or group therapy.
Continually observe, collect, and summarize data on client behavior.
Monitor client progress and communicate significant changes in behavior to your BCBA.
Provide daily written progress notes and verbal progress updates on treatment goals.
Submit, within 24-hours of session start time, provider notes, data, and electronic billing invoice which shall include client’s name, therapy start and end times, and hours.
Maintain client confidentiality.
Be on site and ready to begin session before client arrival; if unable to be on time and ready, RBT must communicate with BCBA supervisor at the earliest time possible.
Regularly attend team meetings and collaborate, communicate, and assist with the training of clients, parents and staff.
Provide a safe and supportive environment for clients and family.
Carry out clinical assessments and other administrative duties.
Assist other Behavioral Technician, Behavior Analysts, and ABA Interns in preparing client materials as instructed by supervising BCBA.
Maintain a clean, safe, organized, and welcoming clinic environment.
Attend trainings and consistently make efforts to acquire further knowledge regarding current ABA standards of practice.
Collaborate with treatment team including client, parents and caregivers, outside professionals, Lead Behavioral Technician, ABA Interns, and co-workers.
Accumulate continuing education credits annually (calendar year) in order to maintain licensing requirements as mandated by BACB rules and regulations.
