Job Description

Blue Autism Center is looking for a new RBT to join our amazing team!

RBTs (Registered Behavior Technician) work one-on-one with children by applying principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). The purpose of ABA therapy is to help improve the child's communication skills, reduce negative behaviors, and teach them play, social and functional-living skills while using evidence based strategies.

RBTs receive ongoing training and supervision. Training is paid!

Therapy sessions are conducted with the child in a center-based setting. No in-home!

What We're Looking For:

· Enjoys working with children

· Can implement daily program goals, written by BCBA (supervisor)

· Collect accurate data, record session notes

· Arrive at all scheduled appointments on time

· Demonstrate creative and independent thinking

· Demonstrate self-motivation and time management skills

· Great Communication skills

· High school diploma is required/ 18 yrs +

· Ability to complete Registered Behavior Technician certification within 60 days

Paid Training and RBT certification

$18-$20.00 Hr. Depending on experience

What is Applied Behavioral Analysis?

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is the science of applying focused and data-driven techniques to the principals of learning to help change behavior. ABA can improve functioning across all areas of child development and teach invaluable life-skills like speech, cooperation, taking turns, making friends, motor skills, hygiene, personal safety and more. ABA is the only treatment for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) that has been designated as medically necessary and it is increasingly becoming an accessible option for families.
