Job Description
delays, or Autism thrive through compassionate, individualized care. We work in homes, schools, clinics, and communities - wherever children need us most.
Our team is supportive, collaborative, and passionate about making a difference. If you're a skilled BCBA looking to grow in a flexible, encouraging environment, we'd love to connect.
About the Role
We're looking for a dedicated BCBA to join our clinical team. You'll assess clients, design treatment plans, supervise technicians, and collaborate closely with families to help children succeed.
This role offers flexibility, autonomy, and opportunities for leadership.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct behavioral assessments (e.g., FBAs, skill assessments)
• Develop individualized treatment plans with clear goals
• Train, supervise, and support behavior technicians (BTs and RBTs)
• Monitor client progress through data review and observations
• Lead caregiver training and provide ongoing family support
• Collaborate with other professionals (teachers, therapists, etc.)
• Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with BACB standards
• Stay up to date with ABA best practices and contribute to team training
What We're Looking For
Required:
• Master's degree in ABA, Psychology, Education, or a related field
• Active BCBA certification
• 2+ years of experience with autism and developmental disabilities
• Strong communication, leadership, and time-management skills
• Comfortable working in various settings (home, school, community, clinic)
• Proficient with electronic data collection and reporting systems
Preferred:
• Experience supervising RBTs or BTs
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
Work Environment
• Flexible scheduling - set your own hours
• Weekly case consultation and team support
• Services provided in a variety of settings (in-home, in-clinic, in-school, telehealth)
• Occasional evening or weekend availability for family training may be required
• Physical activity required (e.g., sitting on the floor, kneeling, standing)
Why Join Us?
At The Behavior Lab, we believe work should be meaningful and enjoyable. We're not your typical ABA agency - we're a close-knit team that supports one another, celebrates wins (big and small), and believes in doing great work without burnout.
Here's what makes us different:
• Flexible schedule - You choose your hours and manage your caseload your way
• Quarterly bonuses - We reward the impact you make
• Growth opportunities - Clear path to Senior BCBA or Clinical Director
• Supportive team - Weekly case consults, mentorship, and zero micromanaging
• Fun culture - Team socials, group chats, inside jokes, and real friendships
• Annual retreats - Leadership and upper management enjoy retreats focused on connection, vision-setting, and recharging
• Full benefits package - Health, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, and more
• Perks - Paid time off, paid sick time, CEU support, mileage + phone reimbursement
We're proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer. We believe diversity and inclusion make us stronger.
