Job Description

Step into a rewarding role where your expertise as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) directly supports students growth and success across all grade levels. This contract opportunity is based near San Luis Obispo, CA, offering a dynamic environment where youll collaborate with educators and families in early childhood, elementary, middle, and high school settings.

Your proficiency in applied behavior analysis will make a significant difference in the lives of students with a wide range of needs. Youll design and oversee behavior intervention plans, provide guidance to staff, and ensure interventions are effective and student-centered.

Qualifications and Experience:
• Active BCBA certification required
• Prior experience working in school settings, spanning early childhood through high school
• Strong knowledge of behavior analytic principles and school-based interventions
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate effectively with students, staff, and families
• Previous experience training and supervising Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and paraprofessionals is a plus

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop individualized behavior intervention plans
• Provide direct and consultative services to students and staff across various school environments
• Offer ongoing support, training, and coaching to teachers and support staff
• Collect and analyze data to measure progress and adjust interventions as needed
• Maintain thorough documentation and participate in IEP meetings
