Position Overview

The Endocrinologist will be responsible for the diagnosis, treatment, and longitudinal management of patients with a wide range of endocrine disorders. This role includes both outpatient clinic responsibilities and inpatient consultation services, working closely with primary care physicians, hospital teams, and other specialists to ensure coordinated, evidence-based care.

Responsibilities
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients with endocrine conditions, including diabetes, thyroid disorders, adrenal and pituitary disorders, osteoporosis, and metabolic conditions
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management, hormone therapy, lifestyle counseling, and patient education
• Provide inpatient consultations with timely assessments and treatment recommendations
• Manage outpatient clinics focused on chronic endocrine disease management and preventative care
• Interpret and review laboratory studies, hormone assays, imaging, and other diagnostic tests
• Collaborate with primary care providers and specialists to optimize patient outcomes
• Participate in case discussions, clinical meetings, and quality improvement initiatives
• Maintain accurate and compliant medical documentation in accordance with regulatory standards
• Stay current with advances in endocrinology through ongoing education and professional development
• Provide mentorship and clinical guidance to advanced practice providers or trainees when applicable

Qualifications
• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
• Board certified or board eligible in Endocrinology
• Active California medical license and DEA registration
• Strong clinical expertise across a broad range of endocrine conditions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care
• Experience with electronic health record systems preferred
