The Opportunity
RIPC Medical Group is seeking a Primary Care Physician to join a growing, physician-led medical group delivering high-quality, value-based care in a fully outpatient setting. This role offers the opportunity to care for a diverse patient population across the full spectrum of primary care services. You will work alongside a collaborative team with strong clinical and operational support, allowing you to focus on patient care while leveraging modern care models and technology. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a mission-driven organization shaping the future of community-based primary care.
What you'll do
• Provide comprehensive primary care to patients across the full lifespan
• See 16–20 patients per day in a 100% outpatient setting
• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care aligned with value-based care principles
• Collaborate with physicians, APPs, and care teams to coordinate care and improve outcomes
• Manage an assigned patient panel, including preventive care and chronic disease management
• Participate in care coordination and quality improvement initiatives
• Utilize EMR to document care and manage patient records
• Incorporate in-office procedures based on experience and interest (optional)
• Provide after-hours call coverage for your patient panel (shared model may be available)
• Engage in team-based care and contribute to a supportive, collaborative practice environment
Who you are
• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school (required)
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine (required)
• Hold an active, unrestricted Rhode Island medical license or be eligible to obtain one (required)
• Commitment to patient-centered, value-based care (required)
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to manage a broad range of primary care conditions
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Comfort working in a team-based, technology-enabled care environment
• Interest in quality improvement and population health initiatives (preferred)
