Position Summary:

The Lead, Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is responsible for the direct implementation of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) programming with clients at Westside Children’s Therapy, under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Providing predominantly play-based therapy, the RBT will support Westside clients in the development of a wide variety of skills. The Lead, RBT will serve as a mentor and clinical resources to new and existing ABA team members.

Essential Functions:
• Serve as a mentor and clinical resource to new and existing ABA team members.
• Collaborate with Regional ABA Trainers to support the onboarding and ongoing training of RBTs within the clinic.
• Conduct audits of RBT SOAP notes to ensure documentation is completed and converted within 48 hours, escalating any outstanding items to the Clinic ABA Director.
• Communicate RBT questions, concerns, and support needs to the Clinic ABA Director.
• Partner with BCBAs to promote collaboration, professional growth, and positive team morale.
• Implement direct therapy services for assigned clients in accordance with programming written by the BCBA.
• Actively participate in supervision with BCBAs, asking questions and incorporating clinical feedback into therapy sessions.
• Collect and accurately record data on client behavior during therapy sessions.
• Complete and submit all required documentation (including SOAP notes) within 48 hours of treatment in alignment with Westside’s policies and procedures.
• Build strong, positive relationships with clients, fostering therapy sessions that are engaging and meaningful.
• Participate in weekly team meetings with the clinic’s ABA team.
• Maintain a caseload at target.## Qualifications Required Education, Experience and Credentials:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Active RBT certification required at time of hire
• Active Safety Care Certification or ability to become certified within 60 days of hire
• 1 year of experience as an RBT at Westside or 2 years of experience progressive progressive leadership experience in a RBT or similar role

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Strong behavioral intervention implementation skills in 1:1 and small-group settings.
• Data collection and analysis skills to ensure accurate tracking of client progress.
• Documentation review and auditing skills to ensure compliance with clinical and organizational standards.
• Ability to mentor and provide clinical guidance to ABA team members in a supportive and constructive manner.
• Time management and organizational skills to maintain caseload expectations and documentation timelines.
