Qualifications:

· Ph.D. in pharmaceutics, pharmacokinetics, drug delivery, or related pharmaceutical sciences field.
Strong academic credentials in the discipline of pharmaceutics, pharmacokinetics, drug delivery, or related pharmaceutical sciences field.

Duties and Responsibilities
Specific responsibilities for Assistant Professor in Pharmaceutical Sciences include, but not limited to:

· Teach Pharm.D and graduate students in areas of pharmaceutics, biopharmaceutics, pharmacokinetics, drug delivery, compounding, pharmaceutical calculations or topics related to pharmaceutical sciences as expertise. The teaching work is assigned by the Chair of the Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Sciences Department.

· Develop and improve the courses as expertise.

· Initiate and actively participate in a research program in areas of interest.

· Maintain publications and other scholarly activities.

· Serve committees of college of pharmacy and university as assigned.

· Assist the college with accreditation and regulatory processes.

· Assist the college and department with strategic plans and assessment.

· Participate in department, college, and university activities as assigned or needed.

· Advise Pharm.D students as assigned by the college.

· Advise graduate students as assigned.

· Mentor faculty as requested.

· Act as a professional model to students.

· Act as an effective representative of the college to the university and professional organizations.

· Work with Dean and accreditation team in all aspects of functions and activities including but not limited to gathering and presenting data relevant to demonstration of compliance with accreditation standards.

· Collate student and faculty research activities, publications, grants, and other research activities relevant to demonstrate student & faculty research of the accreditation standards.
